Review of Sinister 2 (2015) by John M — 19 Aug 2015

I am giving the Sequel to Sinister, 4 out of 5 stars for a few reasons.

One it was original both Sinister and its Sequel were movies, I do not ever recall seeing and originality goes far in todays movies instead of remake garbage.

Secondly it did have jumpscares which I normally think is a cheap way to get people interested but they did not over do it and the movie also stayed consisent until near the end that is, it was like the movie producers were running out of money and made the.

Actors speed up the story because at the end it seemed like we missed some scenes and it was a bit quick but that was the only thing that stopped me giving it 5 out of 5.

I am baffled why this film has such a low rating on both RT and IMDB but for a 30 year old film grad, I thought it was done well and I hope the ratings go up so they make a 3rd and like Insidious make one hell of a great Horror Trilogy.
