Review of Sinister 2 (2015) by Matty M — 20 Jan 2016

For starters I really liked the original Sinister film, it wasn't a perfect film and I've yet to post my review on it but it was a nicely done hack and slash thriller, now for Sinister 2 that's a fairly different story altogether. Sinister 2 (2015) we were expecting at least as good as the first, though this film came in short on all levels. Following the story from the original and of course with a new family, it was if the eerie vibe wasn't as strong this time, and the acting was on an even lower level this time.

Sinister 2 (2015) just didn't seem to be as strong as the first but I'm not saying the film was a complete fail, it did have a fairly done script. I'd say the rough parts of the film were the twins and the ghosts, their acting is a bit of the things that through the vibe off. I do think with a better cast and a bit more on the story versus rushing it through it could've been a better film.
