What a major bust of a sequel to a pretty good horror flick from a few years back is Sinister 2 (Electric Boogaloo). Ok so there are a few jumps and thrills I guess, but the tension that the first one created is void here.
Yes it is still creepy to have little kids slaying families and filming it, but when the lead character is a guy who can't act his way out of a bag, then you know your film is in trouble. Of course as I was thinking about it, how many good horror sequels are there really? Aliens yes! Evil Dead 2, yes, but not many others.
This is a definite wait until cheap theater or dvd.
