The trouble with these cliquey, hip films is that they age so badly. If you were in your twenties in the late eighties you'd perhaps enjoy the soundtrack, if you were in America at the time you could relate, if you were in Seattle you might feel as you'd been were there.
I fit non of these demographics and this felt like a low-budget, unsatisfactory exploration of relationships lacking profundity. or subtlety.
