Review of Singles (1992) by Jennifer P — 21 May 2010
Cameron's writing really shines with an eclectic cast (Fonda, Pullman and Dillon shine in particular) and a sweet soundtrack. I could care less about the Seattle 'grunge' scenes, but Crowe's knack for choosing great pop tracks combined with his script and cast make Singles stand out as a quality Gen-X romantic comedy.
How anyone could ignore Bridget Fonda however is beyond me.
