Review of Single White Female (1992) by Brandon V — 01 Jun 2009
Entirely too contrived and amateurishly directed, but it is a lot of fun...even if some of that fun is due to unintentionally hilarious moments like men being stabbed through the eye with stiletto heels. It's slow to get going and the last third drags too long, but it is well acted; Fonda and Leigh strike an interesting dynamic, and the premise behind the Leigh character's disorder was a new one as far as thriller's go, if my thinking is correct.
It's a very mixed assortment of nuts.
