Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Francesca J — 01 Jul 2012
If aliens were so inclined to want one film to represent our entertainment culture, I would strongly suggest this one. Though not quite timeless in its concept, it truly is a beautiful and charming marriage between film and musical theatre in a time when the two were competing for audiences.
I never tire of this film and love seeing it played on terrestrial television every so often. Seldom fails to make me all fuzzy inside~.
