This famous musical from 1952 is the story of some actors in the late 20s as Hollywood transitioned from silent films to sound. It is a big old Hollywood musical, and a fine example at that. The famous "Singing in the Rain" sequence is one of the best pieces of choreography in any Hollywood musical ever.
Good stuff, fine old Hollywood.
