Such a much revered American musical ordinarily merits an automatic four stars but I find that a lot of the classical musicals are terribly dated and feature such weak storylines. So I am giving this one three stars for the memorable numbers and dance routines but saving a higher degree of stardom to ones that deserve more merit.
