Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Ashley H — 12 May 2011
Singin' In the Rain is an enjoyable film. It is about a silent film company and cast that makes the difficult transition to sound. The music is great and upbeat. Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds give amazing performances.
The script is well written. Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly did great jobs directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the romance. Singin' In the Rain is a must see.
