Review of Singin' in the Rain (1952) by Hannah G — 15 May 2013
This was by far the best musical I have ever seen. The plot is adorable and the characters are perfect. Being made in 1927, this movie/ musical was perfect for the time setting. no matter the people seeing it, everyone got a feel for the time period and everything happening in that time because of the music selection, wardrobe, and even the dialogue brought up.
The acting in this is incredibly well done, and the music is off the hook. The comedy that shows up is by far the best feature in this movie, as it leaves the audience wondering what a character will do or say next that makes them laugh.
Definitely a 5 star rating.
