Review of Sing Street (2016) by Vincent S — 29 Apr 2016

I agreed the newcomer Ferdia Walsh-Peeto looks good(incl. his voice), and provided a good songs. However, I didn't like the story and couldn't accept the teens are smoking with wearing a school uniform, and also contained a lot of outrageous stuffs. It's rated PG-13, but I think it should be R-rated instead.

As for John Carney's films, "Once" is very wonderful and even my all-time favorite, "Begin Again" is still good(but not great), but now this one is so disappointed and definitely not my type.
