Review of Sing Street (2016) by Skylar V — 12 Jul 2016
It's a feel good movie that, unlike others of the genre maintains a childlike wonder that makes it like you are watching the characters onscreen and nothing else. There is no suspension of disbelief required, no doubt this is a product of balancing wonder, smile-inducing optimism, and the heart to carry it through to the end.
Also, catchy songs don't hurt.
