ATTENTION FANS OF MUSIC, MUSICALS OR JUST FREAKING AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT. Sing Street is one of the most surprising and awesome films I have seen all year! This film is about a boy, named Conor, growing up in Dublin during the 1980s and escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress the mysterious girl he likes. This film is filled with excellent newcomer actors that are all seeping with charisma as well as having a KICK ASS soundtrack. Not only are the music selections awesome, the original music is also top notch. After watching this film, I immediately downloaded the soundtrack. This is an incredibly fun movie that is very funny and has a huge heart to its story. What puts this film over your generic high school musical, is its incredible message about family that almost had me in tears by the end. Please trust me on this one. This film needs to be watched. It's available on iTunes and On Demand right now.
