Wow. Holy shit. Eat a dick, La La Land. This nails every tone it tries to capture perfectly. The humor is amazing. The heart and angst of being a teenager is just so is accurate it hurts. I don't even like 80s music, but I enjoyed every second.
None of the music scenes felt stale or slow. I thought I remembered that I heard this was good and gave it a shot, and I was blown away.
