Review of Sing Street (2016) by Arnesh S — 31 Mar 2017
This movie has nothing not going for it. A real gem amidst an ocean of mediocrity. With it's top-notch cast, both young and hold, who play top-notch, characters, who's mentalities, motivations, struggles and actions are very real; it is impossible to not watch this movie without a smile on your face.
As Connor very appropriately puts it, you shall be left 'happy sad', as the movie avoids clichés expertly. The soundtrack, of course, is beyond compare.
