Review of Sing Street (2016) by Silence D — 20 May 2016
This movie is one that not many have heard about. But by Oscar season, this will be the talk of the town. It is the best "musical" movie since Inside Llewyn Davis. This is another job well done by John Carney.
I can't stop raving about this movie. The simple camerawork by Carney, the acting (Especially that of Jack Reynor and Lucy Boynton), the script, THE SONGS! Every single thing shines in this "musical" for the ages.
If you have the chance to see it, GO!
