Review of Sing (2016) by Eugene B — 02 Jan 2017
Great fun entertaining movie starring Matthew Mckonohay or however you spell his last name. I like the idea of a koala about to get his theater taken away from the bank, boom really check in an animated movie.
It's said, every animated movie this year had a reality check in it at least once or its based around the entire movie. Seeing the trailers, I thought this movie would not have a lot of meaning and that's something I was surprised by it.
And mostly all the charcters are cool. Johnny and the elephant are my favorite because everybody has a favorite but these two characters tie for having the most back story and the emotions they present to the audience, and I get goosebumps when these two characters when they sing.
And the connection between Johnny and his father and some people think that's cheesy but how they show it to me, in a film when they show a father and son, I get the feels because it reminds me of my father and I and you probably know, all kids don't get along with their parents at times but over time they all get along in the end just like in this movie.
Now for the bad, this movie is cheesy at times for its jokes and it's references to music in society today.
