Review of Sing (2016) by Mike S — 04 Feb 2017

Sing is generally an enjoyable movie, featuring some great voice talent. The film has enough laughs to make pass the time, but runs a lot of the usual plot points.

But despite the performances, the film feels very familiar and doesn't do anything really new.

I did enjoy the use of different types of music, and not a reliance on current pop music. A big shout out to Seth MacFarlane as Mike the jazz crooning mouse.
