Review of Sing (2016) by Giant C — 11 Jan 2017
Okay, yes, the story is predictable; but, overall, Sing is a very enjoyable movie.
And to those critics saying it has too much singing in it, what the hell did you expect from a movie called SING, idiots?
You've got a good plot, great action scenes, wonderful singing (not sure if Scarlett did the singing for her character), and just enough background on the characters to make the movie that much smoother.
And, honestly, yes, I did tear up during a few spots in the movie.. to the point where, when I left, the ticket taker asked if I was okay (wasn't crying at THAT time but must have still had the glossy redness).
Movie warnings: near-drowning scenes, animal digestion, and questionable bunny twerking being appropriate for kids' eyes. :).
Worth the matinee and general ticket. I didn't see it in 3D so I can't say on that one. Enjoy!
