Hi, my name is Cal Kellner. I am a nineteen-year-old freshman in college. I was just forced to see Sing with my family. Begrudgingly, I hopped in the car departing for the movie theater.

I thought, "Wow, really mom? I could be working out or hanging with friends right now. Instead, I'm going to see some kids movie.".

None of those activities could have topped seeing Sing. I felt chills running down my arms and back multiple times during the movie; not only because of the superb SINGing, but also because of the creative and surprising plot. I found myself so enthralled by the singers that I looked up every one of them after the movie and followed them on every social media site possible. Additionally, Scarlett Johansson has always been a favorite of mine, again I am I nineteen-year-old, but after she showed off her beautiful windpipes as the part of Ash, I am now a lifelong fan.

I do not cry a lot, but there were numerous times that I felt tears coming into my eyes, which I managing to hold off to avoid getting made fun of by my mom. Unfortunately, the end really made the waterfall flow. Luckily, my mom did not see... I felt as though I was a gorilla, or a koala, or even an old iguana while watching this movie. The characters were so relatable that I could feel their emotions through the screen, animal or not. Although, that is not where the emotional roller coaster ended.

This movie did not need to use the usually raunchy comedy to make me laugh. The jokes were obviously intended for children but never failed to cause my mom to "shhhh" me. Even my dad, who usually sleep through every movie we go to, laughed at a lot of parts. I felt as though I was back on campus laughing at some stupid dare that my friend lost. However, instead of just laughing for a second after the dare happened, I had the constant from-the-stomach cackling the whole movie.

Well, I hate writing, so why waste my time creating this long review? Simply put, Sing tops The Hangover, Starwars: Force Awakens, and Doctor Strange on my all time favorite movies. Thus, making Sing number one on my list. Although, I am not the only one who thinks this. My seven-year-old brother got up right after the movie and proclaimed, "Well that beats The Jungle Book." Meaning, Sing also takes his number one spot. Also, I feel as though I owe Sing for giving me such an amazing time at the movies. I am willing to sacrifice my time in order to try and pursued others to see this masterpiece.

I will definitely be back to see Sing at least ten other times in theaters. I will have to look into buying a Sing shirt so I can wear it to my favorite movie.

Thank you, Sing, for such a great time,.

Your biggest fan.
