Review of Sing (2016) by Steven K — 01 Apr 2017
Matthew McConaughey is a Koala! With a huge cast and enough money to spring for small chunks of popular pop music, Sing was okay. Most of the story was good but I found it a bit overshadowed with the more inappropriate themes like gambling, mobsters, robbery and excessive focus on money.
Kids probably won't notice any of it but as an adult I found the heavy use of these quite off-putting. There was mild humor and the visuals were great and in the end I'm calling this move okay.
