Review of Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003) by Matthew F — 14 Feb 2013

This film makes many of the same mistakes Disney made with films like Atlantis and Treasure Planet, although it is not as bad as they are. Things that make this film better than those are better characters (well better than Atlantis), better action, a better story.

and better animation (well, at least better than Treasure Planet). None of those things are done very well, the animation looked like they filled it in with color way too much. Also Eris is a really cool villain.

What makes me give it a good rating is the moral of honor, and the climax was great. Is this an animated masterpiece, not by any stretch, but I am glad I watched it.
