Review of Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003) by Maggie . — 06 Dec 2008
You get the feeling when watching this film that if 'Pirates of the Caribbean' hadn't been so darn successful, then old Sinbad would have his own swashbuckling franchise. This animation serves the Sinbad drought well however, with Brad Pitt on great form and stunning action sequences.
The film is let down by Michelle Pfeiffer's unimaginative and somewhat incompetant villain and a lack of songs about scrubbing the deck, manning the riggings and scurvy.
