Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Ozymandias79 — 26 Sep 2014
It's easy to see why the second installment of Sin City didn't do so well. Marv's make up was a bit dodgy, especially at the beginning, Not sure about some of the casting choices. Jamie Chung should have been a better choice for Miho, but she was unsure in a most of her scenes.
Eva green, again, sexy but not feminine enough (too goth) for Ava. Josh Brolin, at least, was good. Jeremy Piven - good. A Dame To Kill For lacked a lot of the soul from the first movie. Improvements could have been made in too many areas for this film.
That's why it gets a spectacular 'meh'.
