Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Riaan_Radiohead — 08 Jan 2015
Even Eva Green can't save this tired, underwhelming and generally uninspired 9 years too late sequel to the original.
Rodriguez and Miller's comic noir project has lost its spark, this is clearly a case of diminishing returns.
None of the new stories feel fresh: the writing is poor, the violence has lost its shock factor and the new additions to the cast are seriously lacking in interesting characterization.
Avoid.
