Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Mark James A — 09 Sep 2014
It pretty much follows the same old rhythm of the first film and sadly, the stories it offers are inferior. However, the film's slick techniques maneuver it into a very impressive form of Grindhouse campiness moving in fast-paced progression.
If there's one thing dissatisfying about it that would be its failure to extend the hypnotic thrill-ride it gratifyingly offers. But as far as everything goes, "A Dame to Kill For" is an intoxicating entertainment, as well as a nostalgic throwback to its predecessor's glorious moments.
