Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Ryan B — 16 Jan 2015
Unlike most, I'm not a fan of the original. There were fantastic elements - the style and the conclusion of the Bruce Willis story are just some examples, but I thought it relied much too heavily on shock value and absurdity.
As if it was using its fantastic style as more of a crutch than anything else. In A Dame to Kill For - I just don't know what's going on. It started off interesting and went way downhill. What was with that ending?
