Review of Sin City (2005) by Lewis W — 24 Aug 2014
85%.
Robert Rodriguez's 2005 Sin City, Which Is Adapted From The Popular Graphic Novel Series By The Same Name. I Think That This Film Was Very Good, I Have Never Read The Graphic Novels Before Viewing This And It Was Incredible. I Think That The Best Performances In The Film Was Mickey Rourke As Marv And Bruce Willis As Hartigan Who Were Both (4.5/5) Amazing. This Was Something New That Rodriguez Has Done After He Made Big Hit Films Like From Dusk Till Dawn And Desperado And Even The Family Friendly Hit, Spy Kids.
This Ensemble Film Has The Likes Of Bruce Willis (Die Hard), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four), Nick Stahl (Terminator 3), Clive Owen ( Children Of Men), Devon Aoki (2 Fast 2 Furious), Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), Rosario Dawson (Death Proof), Benicio Del Toro (Snatch.), Carla Gugino (Spy Kids), Jaime King (Pearl Harbour), Brittany Murphy (8 Mile), Elijah Wood (Lord Of The Rings). Besides That Massive Cast, There Was Also A Brief Apperances Like Rutger Hauer (Nighthawks), Powers Boothe (Avengers), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) And Opening Credits Were Marley Shelton (Planet Terror) And Josh Hartnett (The Faculty).
The Film Centers Around Three Men In The Dark And Miserable Town Of Basin City, Who Are All Caught Up In Corruption, Gangs, And Everything Else. The Three Men Leading It Was Bruce Willis,Mickey Rourke And Clive Owen. This Film Had Some Visually Stunning Effects, Good Acting By A Lot Of The Cast, It Also Won Best Make-Up For Mickey Rourke As Marv, Which I Thought Deserved It. I Can't Wait To Watch Sin City: A Dame To Kill For When It Is In Cinemas.
