This, my friends, was a thing of beauty. Crispin Glover is a seriously underrated actor. If it wasn't for him, I think this film would have bit the big one pretty hard. Simon Says was made for people who love 80's type horror.
With tons of gore and stupid jokes (sleepy puppy) how could you not love it?? The more I see Crispin Glover, the more madly in love with him I become. He's absolutely bat-shit crazy in most of his roles, and that's what he does best.
So if you're a hardcore horror fan, this one's for you... and I mean real horror, not I Know What You Did Last Summer kind of shite.
