Made at a time when westerns were a thing of the past this is an extremely well made piece of retro-filmmaking. A great line-up of actors - Kevin Kline, Costner, Scott Glenn, Danny Glover, Brian Dennehy, Linda Hunt, John Cleese, Jeff Glodblum - all seem to have fun in their roles.
There is nothing remotely original about it but I enjoyed every second.
