People often bang on about the historical inaccuracies of this film but such criticisms generally say more about the anal nature of the critic than the movie. Seen from the point of view of fiction based on fact this has it all; humour, action, drama and romance.
Cheesy by today's standards but then so am I! Flynn's farewell to his wife prior to the climatic battle is probably the most moving that I've ever seen.
