Review of Silver Lode (1954) by Adam C — 04 May 2009
This is one of those B films that you find every once in awhile that deserves to be found. This is a good genre film but really excels with some terrific suspense. It's is also a brave film because it is an open parable about the days of McCarthyism, which makes it even more interesting.
I just seem to really like westerns like this one. Lean, tense and filled with moral dilemmas.
