Bradley Cooper perfectly portrays a man struggling with his bi-polar disorder. He's warm and funny but also scary and delusional. The rest of the cast (including a revelatory performance by Jennifer Lawrence) is also terrific.
The film captures the chaos and confusion of people dealing with mental issues well enough to forgive its neat Hollywood ending.
