Review of Silver Linings Playbook (2012) by David Andres L — 16 Dec 2017
Silver Linings Playbook is a hilarious movie with an interesting story. Although you may think that Pat and Tiffany have no reason to be together, O. Russell's clever script connects them in a very accurate way.
I was shocked by the performance of Bradley Cooper, who manages to win over the viewer even when it does not seem like he can do it. Robert De Niro plays a very emotional role in which it stands out in every scene except the one he does with Jennifer Lawrence, who in my opinion, is the best part of the film. She plays the role with a force that steals the scenes in which she appears, and again like Cooper, despite his madness, manages to win over the audience.
At the end it is a movie that raises your spirits because it shows that if they, with their faults, could find love, anyone can do it.
