Review of Silver Linings Playbook (2012) by Sawyer M — 06 Mar 2014
"Silver Linings Playbook" is a movie that is very hard to find something wrong with. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence had some of the best romantic chemistry I've seen in years. This is my favorite "Romantic Dramedy" of all time.
While Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence had really great performances, the supporting roles are VERY great too. Robert De Niro in particular. This is my favorite De Niro role of all time, and he's a SUPPORTING character.
Other supporting roles include, Jacki Weaver, Chris Tucker, John Oritz, and Julia Stiles. This is a VERY well-made film, and this and Argo were my choices for Best Picture and of course, Argo won (which is great.
) This actors in this film did such great performances, that I did not see Bradley Cooper as Bradley Cooper or Jennifer Lawrence as Jennifer Lawrence and that's how you know a cast is great. Great cast, great story, great film.
