Struggling British motocycle racer uncovers a revolutionary prototype cycle in his late brother's garage and forges on against the big money teams to challenge at Silverstone. Nice to see Christina Raines here, I thought she was fine in Nightmares.

A couple of sappy montages notwithstanding, this one features a familiar underdog story which usually works. Essex stars and also provides the music, the title track which was a Top 10 hit in the UK but failed to score (like the film itself) in America.
