Review of Silkwood (1983) by Gio H — 18 Nov 2007
This is the true story of Karen Silkwood, who was contaminated by her nuclear power company. The script is solid but the pacing of the film is quite slow. Meryl Streep gives a great performance as always and the rest of the cast are pretty good as well (especially Cher who plays the role of a butch lesbian).
The ending of the film leaves some questions just like the real event but overall SILKWOOD was a solid drama.
