Review of Silent Trigger (1996) by Cal ( — 05 Feb 2010

I think you will only love this film if your a fan of Dolph Lundgren, and luckily for me I am!!! I don't like every film he's ever made, just a select few, with Silent Trigger being my ultimate favorite of his.

I have loved this ever since I first saw it, about 6 years ago now. The first time I saw it I didn't catch if from the beginning, I caught it from about 15mins in. The second time it was on I watched it from the beginning, and now own the DVD.

I love this film because it has action, suspense, thrills, gun fights and a great storyline. Gina Bellman is a great partner for Dolph, and it was so different seeing her in a film like this, as i'm so used to her being in Coupling! So it was a refreshing change to see her sink her acting talents into something as great as Silent Trigger is! But like I said, unless your a fan of Dolph Lundgren then it probably won't be to everyone's taste.

But I still recommend it to everyone. It has an R rating, which to me is an 18, so it could be too violent for most people to truly appreciate how great a film it really is, but still give it a try, as you never know, you could love it as much as me!!!
