I seriously think less of Tarantino now. I get these movies, but I totally hate them, it reminded me of "The Brown Bunny" actually (which I despise). I not only don't see the beauty of it, I also thought this one in particular was unbelievably cheesy! Yes, as creepy and weird as it was - total cheese.
Didn't find it shocking like most of my relatives though.
