Review of Silent Souls (2010) by Ubaid D — 22 Jan 2012
The guy at the concession stand asked me "Is your soul silent?".
I first thought he was asking me whether my cell was silent. "Excuse me?" I replied. "Is your soul silent?".
Hmm, "I don't know, is yours?".
"Yes, for now.".
This is an atmospheric, quiet movie with a strangely morose mood. I enjoyed it, though I did not find it fully satisfying.
Oh, and yes, my soul is silent. For now.
