Review of Silent Running (1972) by Mikael K — 25 Nov 2011
Simple, naive but extremely warmhearted, this sci-fi classic from the 70â(TM)s is a beautiful ecological declaration that embraces the world and has faith in humanity and peace. This is about as hippie as a movie can get, and even the weakness of the plot canâ(TM)t take away the wisdom, sweetness and hope that illuminates the piece.
