The original bad Santa. The first part of this movie sets up the character, with promise of intrigue and psychological complexities and maybe even a compelling story! But when the axe starts swinging midway the intrigue goes with it, because at that point the man in the red suit becomes just like any other slasher in a hundred other movies.
..except he comically yells "PUNISH!" every time he takes a 'naughty' life. Pretty derivitive despite its notorious past.
