There was a time where Mel Brooks could make me laugh almost non-stop. Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World Part 1, Spaceballs, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights are all hilarious movies that can be watched time and time again.
However, Silent Movie isn't one of them, at least for me. The majority of the slapstick gags felt forced and couldn't get me to crack a smile... and I enjoy slapstick.
