Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Andrew D — 19 Sep 2012
Silent Hill is a tricky little horror film to talk about. To get the best part of the movie out of the way, the visuals look astounding. The atmosphere is very creepy and the creatures are terrifying (espcially the creepy nurses in the basement.
They gave me chills)! Pretty much everything else is crap. The acting in the film is below par and the script is pretty poorly written. Also, the film tends to run way too long and wear out its welcome around the hour and a half mark.
This is an okay film, but don't go in expecting something revolutionary. I can only reccommend it to see the special effects.
