Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Jonathon W — 26 Oct 2012
Never played much of the games, but I really like this adaptation. The visuals are great, with a creepy atmosphere, and hideously scary creatures. The plot is delightfully grotesque. It is not a scary horror movie, but it sure does have a great survival horror atmosphere.
Worlds and away the best non-anime video game film adaption that exists (I have seen most of them), and actually my favourite horror film.
