I liked Silent Hill. The effects were not amazing but the movie's creepy dark atmosphere was still scary. I haven't played the game(yet). So over all, the movie had a B-movie feel to it, the acting was good, the effects were not terrible and the creepiness was very effective. I recommend it as a rent only.
