Review of Silence (2017) by Bob A — 25 Dec 2016
RECOMMENDED: Martin Scorsese's SILENCE offers a contemplative walk in the frayed sandals of priests and Christians persecuted, tortured, and martyred in Old Japan. In every step of the journey, the film seems to ask: What would you do in a particular scene? Would you stay faithful to your beliefs or to your religion? Are faith and religion the same or distinct? How would you justify living faith within or without religion today?
