Review of Silence (2017) by Nikos R — 08 Feb 2017
Admirable in it's scope and it's execution, Silence is a gorgeously photographed and terrifically acted film, that tells a powerful story and challenges you to explore it's themes. Thought provoking and at times fascinating to be sure, I wasn't consistently engaged by silence.
It's runtime is punishingly long and it's narrative often ends up feeling meandering and repetitive.
