Review of Silence (2017) by David D — 09 Mar 2017
"Silence" is easily the worst film I've seen in years, literally stopped it an hour and 45 through. Martin Scorsese made a stale piece of of a dog turd with incredibly low level non existent "acting" filled to the brim with Catholicism jack-off level pretentiousness. Adam Driver might be my least favorite actor of the past decade, let alone deserved to "act" in a Scorsese film. Hollow and uber pretentious melodrama that drags at an excruciating slow level, poor acting on almost every level except Andrew Garfield, who is the sad but almost saving grace of an excrement of "film". Dear god, could I feel like I could actually jerk off a priest and get a better story out of the absolute drivel that is "Silence". It is inaccurate, it is Severely poorly portrayed, it is has a horrid non inclusive soundtrack, the only saving grace is to how it's shot...which is good. Literal garbage on a screen, I haven't been so offended by a piece of film being so poorly executed since the Twilight....this is the definition of pure shit on a cinema screen.
Lemme just say one more thing pertaining to the film itself....
MEEESA JAPANESE MEESA LIKE JESUS MEESA NO WANT TO DIE PREESE A FATHER A BLESS ME SO ME NO DIE! PREESE HEP MY BRATHAS IN ADDA PARTS OF THE JAPAM MEESA NO SPEAK ENGLISH MEESA SO SORRY. MEESA WANT US TO BEE BESSA FWENDS MEESA WANT TO ROVE JEESUS.
Racist, shit, drivel, garbage, poorly made, poorly executed, poorly acted, bastardization of a good director, or once good director.
